Today, August 5th, we celebrate the birthday of a true hip-hop legend and an advocate for peace

Some of those “back in the day” lyrics weren’t always about peace, Adam Yauch, also known as MCA, of the Beastie Boys would have been 61 today.

Adam’s journey proved that a person—and their music—can grow and affect change in the world. Me – I’m just trying to help with some inspiration of doing a 5K run every day. It happened again this morning.
