In January 2016, David Bowie’s song “Blackstar” peaked on the Billboard Hot 100 chart at #78, but it also became the longest song to be on the chart in 44 years clocking in at 9:57

But then in 2019 on today’s date, the song “Fear Inoculum” from Tool entered the Hot 100 at #93 AND it outlasted the Bowie song with a total time of 10:22
