Even Flow vs. No Code | A Run to Pearl Jam’s Two Sides | Day 239

5K EVERY DAY – Day #239

(“Hail, hail to the lucky ones, I refer to those in love, yeah” from “Hail Hail” song)

Today marks the anniversary of two very different albums from Pearl Jam: their more experimental one, No Code from 1996 and , of course, their game-changing debut album from 1991 – Ten

(Musical intro to “Even Flow”)

Both albums are a great reminder that not every day is the same. Some days, you have to be more introspective and just put in the work, like No Code. Other days are loud and full of energy, like Ten.

(Hook to “Even Flow”)

I like running to the Ten album – I ran.
