Today, we celebrate the birthday of one of the hardest-working drummers on the planet — Travis Barker.

Blink-182 made him a household name, but what I’ve always admired is his refusal to stop creating — even when life threw him the absolute worst.

After surviving a plane crash in 2008, doctors said he might never play drums again.
So what did he do? He rebuilt himself — physically, mentally, creatively — one day at a time.

That’s the mindset I’m aiming for: Show up. Be grateful. Keep moving forward — one mile, one rep, one run at a time. Day 318 — done.
