Hanging out with the Fonz.

But it wasn’t the Fonz

who made sure “Buddy Holly”

made the album.

Rivers Cuomo thought the song was

too cheesy

and actually pulled it

from the tracklist.

Thankfully, producer
Ric Ocasek (of The Cars)
stepped in and told him:

“You’re stupid.
This is a great song.
Put it back on the record.”
