On this date back in 1991, Soundgarden kicked off a run of arena shows opening for Guns N’ Roses. A huge tour with massive crowds.

And tucked inside that tour was something legendary:
a three-night stand at Madison Square Garden — the only time Soundgarden ever played that venue.

One of the greatest rock bands of all time…
and they only hit MSG once.
Proof that even the superstars only get certain moments a single time.

We don’t get unlimited shots either.
