Which Beatle Helped Name Oasis’ “Wonderwall”?

MUSIC THAT MATTERS – “Lyric of the Day”

(Opening of Wonderwall)

On this date of January 16th, but back in 1996
Oasis took the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Modern Rock Tracks chart
with “Wonderwall”

(Music Cut 2 — verse settles in)

Originally, the song wasn’t even called “Wonderwall.”
The working title was “Wishing Stone.”

The final name came from Wonderwall Music,
a solo album from George Harrison.

(“Got My Mind Set on You”)

Quick note — that song is NOT on Wonderwall Music.
Just having a little fun with George Harrison fans.

(One last cut of Oasis)
