Eve 6 released their debut single –
“Inside Out.”

while they were still juniors in high school.
There was just one problem –
their original name was “Eleventeen.”

So while watching an episode of
The X-Files…
there was a genetically engineered clone
that was especially disturbed.
The name was Eve 6 –
and they decided it fit their angst perfectly.
