First up — Leon Bridges with Happiness Anytime.

This is Leon’s fifth studio album where he teamed up with J Lloyd and Lydia Kitto from Jungle for four days – and came away with half an album. That’s chemistry!

Leon wanted music he could actually dance to onstage, and you can hear that extra groove all over this record.
Next, Tom Morello rages again with friends on Everyone Gets Everything They Want.

This first song is actually one of four included on the expanded encore to last year’s album The Life of a Showgirl.

Bottom line – it’s brand-new Taylor, and yes, that automatically makes it one of the biggest releases of the week.
Also new – and also big – U2 with “Silencio.”

This is the second song from their upcoming album Carnaval De Luz, arriving November 13th.
And that album will be U2’s first studio album of entirely new material in nine years.

And finally, one vinyl pick.
Alice in Chains’ MTV Unplugged – its the 30th anniversary.
The new double-LP reissue brings that 1996 performance back to vinyl, with stripped-down versions of “Nutshell,” “Rooster,” “Down in a Hole,” and “Would?”
