This is the scribble that leads to the babble. Sometimes, it gets tidied up; but other times, not so much. When all else fails: watch the video!

Day 2 of the 3 Day Fast

You know the best thing about today – that I can say that I can eat tomorrow!

Tomorrow at 5:59PM – the fast ends. Just coffee, tea, water – that’s it.

Right now – I’m in the “headachey” phase. Nothing brutal or full blown, but the head is clearing out basically. I explain it as the fog is lifting. This is my favorite times of the fast besides the part of ending it with a bite of food or swig of beverage.

This past weekend, I was reminded of a forgotten trick and it’s such an easy one to do.

The secret to make sure you actually act on something – to follow through. How do you do it – Count down backward from 5 to 1. As soon as you hit 1, move. Matt D’Avella. His header to an email that I received was “Stop procrastinating in 5 seconds.” I knew who taught him that right away and as he always does he gave credit throughout it all – Mel Robbins. I’ve heard her on 2 podcasts with Chase Jarvis.

Anyway, Matt breaks it down nicely and it’s true – any task: waking up / jumping into a cold shower / Hitting the call button / Envision the task and then count down backward from 5 to 1.
