Batting lead-off – Role Model is back with his third album, Chuck Timely & The Hourglass

We already sipped on this one earlier this summer with “High Hopes 3000,” and now the full shebang of an album is here.
It’s pop, it’s alt-pop, it’s a little theatrical, it’s Role Model

And for the indie fans, The Mountain Goats are back with Days
This album apparently began life as Grunges — a joking sequel to their 2017 album Goths.
Which that type of thought process is extremely Mountain Goats.

And then there’s FLO with Therapy at the Club.

This album follows the flow of a night out, but instead of just dancing your problems away, FLO brings the mess smack dab into middle of the club.

First up is Weezer, as they return with “C.E.O.”
It’s a new single ahead of their upcoming album, which drops fully on August 21st.
And yes – I will be talking about it again in two weeks.

Also new this week – Madonna & Kylie Minogue – “Love Sensation”

Two pop icons. One official collaboration.
They debuted it live together in Amsterdam, and now the song is out for the world to enjoy.

En Vogue’s EV3 is back as a remastered light-blue double LP. The album includes “Don’t Let Go (Love),” one of the defining R&B-pop singles of the ’90s.
