that had everybody singing about Asha…

whether they knew who she was or not.

“Brimful of Asha.”

The song was packed with references
to Indian music and movies…

but the name in the chorus
wasn’t something Cornershop made up.

Asha was Asha Bhosle…
basically, a legend of Indian movie music.

So “Brimful of Asha” was really
a love letter to the music
the band grew up hearing.
