into a massive mansion in LA…

where they could live…

write…

and record together.

Well…

MOST of them lived there.

Chad Smith wanted absolutely no part it.

He believed the mansion was haunted…

so while Anthony Kiedis, Flea and John Frusciante stayed there…

Chad left every night…

and went home.
