MUSIC THAT MATTERS – “Lyric of the Day”

(Music Cut #1 — “The Choice Is Yours” original version)

Released on this day in 1991…

Black Sheep gave us their debut album…

A Wolf in Sheep’s Clothing.

And it featured a particular song…

(Music Cut #2 — “The Choice Is Yours” original version)

But wait a minute…

That’s not quite the version you remember!

In fact, it’s not even the version that became famous.

(Music Cut #3 — “The Choice Is Yours (Revisited)”)

That’s because Black Sheep recorded another version…

called “The Choice Is Yours (Revisited).”

Same hook…

but THIS is the beat everybody remembers!

(Music Cut #4 — “The Choice Is Yours (Revisited)”)

LYRIC OF THE DAY:
“Out to rock the globe while it’s still here to rock
Don’t punch girls and we don’t punch a clock.”

– Black Sheep “The Choice Is Yours (Revisited)”
