MUSIC THAT MATTERS – “Lyric of the Day”

(Music Cut #1 — “Come as You Are”)

On Halloween night 1993…

Nirvana took the stage…

at the University of Akron in Ohio.

And the band REALLY got into the Halloween spirit!

(Music Cut #2 — “Come as You Are”)

Dave Grohl dressed as a mummy…

and guitarist Pat Smear showed up as Slash…

from Guns N’ Roses!

But Kurt Cobain’s costume…

was something COMPLETELY different!

(Music Cut #3 – Barney Song “I love you”)

Kurt dressed as BARNEY THE DINOSAUR!

And during the show…

Barney and Slash even staged a guitar duel!

Unfortunately…

Barney didn’t make it!

(Music Cut #4 — “Come as You Are”)

LYRIC OF THE DAY:
“Come doused in mud, soaked in bleach
As I want you to be
As a trend, as a friend
As an old memoria.” – Nirvana, “Come as You Are”
