morning babble / Tuesday 01-18-22
This is the scribble that leads to the babble. Sometimes, it gets tidied up; but other times, not so much. When all else fails: watch the video!
I ran, BUT I also tried something else today. Have you heard of the “Bring Sally Up” Challenge? Not fun. In a recent video, David Goggins shared it on Instagram and described it as “a simple 30 push-up workout that’s not so simple.” It uses lyrics in the song ‘Flower’ by Moby from his 2000 album Play: The B Sides. Here’s how it works. Each time you hear the word “up,” you rise up into the upper end of the movement of a push-up, and then hold that position until you hear the word “down.” You then stay in that lower pose until you hear “up” again, and so forth. Over the course of the song, you “only” do 30 push-ups. Goggins credits this other guy though for creating it.
(Video Clip of Igor Voitenko) Go check out the whole thing here.
Now, I was going to video myself doing it, but after seeing this guy. Well, I just felt he had some things that I didn’t in demonstrating the routine.

Plus, I only got to 11. Ugh. Go watch the babble.

QUOTE OF THE DAY:
“Everybody comes to a point in their life when they want to quit. But it’s what you do at that moment that determines who you are.” – by David Goggins
