I googled “Chicken Butt”

Guess what Chicken Butt Origin
So, where does “guess what chicken butt” come from? The origin of the saying dates back to the 14th century. Back in these times, butchers would take the undesirable cuts of meat, like the shoulders, into barrels – known as “butts.”

Another website that goes even deeper explains: “The retort’s origins are usually speculated to have come from a practice common to street merchants when they would call out what they were offering and how much it cost. One particularly delicious item was advertised as: Chicken butt! Five cents a cut!

And yet another website, says it’s part of a nursery rhyme?

Guess what?
What?
Chicken butt!

It keeps going!

Guess why?
Why?
Chicken thigh!

Guess where?
Where?
Chicken hair!

Guess when?
When?
Chicken hen!

And then ends with:

Guess who?
Who?
Chicken poo!
