they were called Innocent Criminals.

They recorded a cheap demo…

entered it in a TV and radio contest…

and won.

That demo was “Tomorrow”…

And Daniel Johns said the lyrics came from a documentary

about a rich guy stuck experiencing life in a poor person’s hotel.

He wanted out.

But he had to wait until tomorrow.
