On this date back in 2015, A Tribe Called Quest reissued their debut album – People’s Instinctive Travels and the Paths of Rhythm. To promote it, they performed “Can I Kick It?” on The Tonight Show.

That performance with Jimmy Fallon was their first TV appearance in 15 years… and sadly, their last. Phife Dawg passed away just four months later.
