MUSIC THAT MATTERS – “Lyric of the Day”

(Music Cut #1 — “Monkey Business”)

On this day in 1991…

Skid Row appeared on Saturday Night Live…

with Kiefer Sutherland hosting!

And Sebastian Bach…

did a little more than just sing!

(Music Cut #2 — Skid Row, “Monkey Business”)

Along with bassist Rachel Bolan…

Bach appeared in a sketch called “Kiddie Metal.”

And joining them…

were TWO rather familiar rock stars!

SORT OF!

(Music Cut #3 — SNL “Kiddie Metal” sketch: reveal Slash and Axl)

Kiefer Sutherland played SLASH…

while Adam Sandler played AXL ROSE!

And together with Sebastian Bach…

they performed a heavy-metal version…

of the ABC SONG!
