Around this time of August 1st back in 1970, Mr. Phil Collins successfully auditioned for the band, Genesis

At that time though, he was only the drummer, because someone else who was way into costuming was at the front of the band

Mr. Peter Gabriel who I also enjoy immensely, but growing up, it was the Phil Collins led Genesis that truly got my attention
