Phoebe Waller-Bridge was the creator, writer, and lead star of Fleabag.

If her character on that show also happened to be a lead singer –
Dry Cleaning would be her band

Now, I get that not everyone has seen Fleabag –
but you should – 1) it’s good and 2) the sound Dry Cleaning are putting out on their new album Secret Love instantly reminds me of it.

The way the lead singer delivers these spoken-word vocals
while the band just jams around her –
getting vibes of another band Wet Leg and I’m all in on that sound!

My ear-worthy track on the album is “Evil Evil Idiot.”
