This Movie Weekend Has Raccoon City, a Rogue Teacher, and Bigfoot

Movies That Matter / 09-18-26

(Movies That Matter Intro)

Welcome to Movies That Matter, where we look at three movies worth knowing about before the weekend begins.

Resident Evil is getting reinvented, Saoirse Ronan has reached her breaking point as a teacher, and Shaun the Sheep may have accidentally created Bigfoot.

(Countdown Video)

What’s new? Well… Resident Evil has a brand-new story, and Raccoon City is calling again…

(“Where’s it going again” clip)

Austin Abrams plays a medical courier whose delivery turns into one very long, very bad night of survival.

So yes… delivering packages in Raccoon City is still rather risky.

(“I can’t get a hold of police” clip)

And if that sounds stressful, wait until you meet this teacher.

(“Pushed a girl down the stairs” clip)

Saoirse Ronan stars in Bad Apples as a teacher dealing with one especially difficult student – until she accidentally knocks him out…

…and then decides the best solution is to keep him locked in her basement.

(“Anyone feeling sad or anxious” clip)

Oddly enough, the classroom starts doing much better.

And finally, something a little more fun.

(“To Save Halloween” clip)

Shaun the Sheep: The Beast of Mossy Bottom has Shaun trying to save the farm’s pumpkin patch with a little science.

Basically… Shaun the Sheep has given us Bigfoot for Halloween.

(Hairy Monster clip)

That’s this weekend’s Movies That Matter. From Raccoon City to a questionable teaching style to a hairy monster on the loose, there should be something waiting for you at the movies.

Until next time – keep on popping the corn.
