In the original draft…

there was no “Tiffany’s” at all.

The song was actually written around
another Audrey Hepburn film –

“Roman Holiday.”

But it didn’t quite work.

Didn’t roll off the tongue.

Wanting to keep the Audrey Hepburn theme…

Todd Pipes went through her films…

looking for a title that fit the rhythm he already had.

And “Breakfast at Tiffany’s”…

had the perfect cadence.
