Is This Album a Blink-182 Ode?

NEW MUSIC THAT MATTERS

EAR-WORTHY MUSIC — EPISODE: Maybe Not Tonight by Lime Garden

(Intro to “23” Clip)

You don’t even need a full half hour to enjoy this one –
it’s 29 minutes of pure pop-punk joy.

And honestly… I want more.

(“New Music that Matters” Opener)

Out of the UK, Lime Garden just dropped their sophomore record, Maybe Not Tonight
and it’s basically the soundtrack to your mid-twenties crisis.

I realize I’m in my 50s…
I’ve got The National for my downward spirals.

(“Maybe Not Tonight” Clip)

The title track, “Maybe Not Tonight,” was the first single from late 2025 –
and the entire album is built around one long night out.

But the song that made me fall for this album…
the opening track

(“23” Clip)

That right there is “23”
my ear-worthy track on the album.

My question though – Is that an ode to Blink-182?

(“What’s My Age Again” Clip with 23 in the lyrics)

Like I said at the start —
I want more from Lime Garden.

This album lives in that one-night-out energy
but do yourself a favor and spend some time with Maybe Not Tonight.
